Nexidia Gives Thanks

Thanksgiving

It’s that time of year – multi-colored leaves are on the ground, the air has a distinct crispness to it and out of town guests are starting to arrive. If your house is like mine, the television will soon be flipping back and forth between the Macy’s parade and football and you’ll be anxiously awaiting the arrival of the turkey on your family’s dining room table (actually this blogger is a vegetarian so I’ll be awaiting the arrival of the roasted veggies, but I digress). Maybe you’ll be lining up outside a store to get the best Black Friday sale, or perhaps you’ll be settling in to enjoy time with family that you don’t get to see often enough. But however you choose to spend the holiday, above and beyond anything else, it’s a time to set aside a moment to give thanks.

Here at the Nexidia corporate office, we have a lot of things going for us. There’s underground parking, so we never worry about rain, nor snow, nor hail ever hitting our cars. The office vending machines dispense free soft drinks and water, ensuring we’re all fully hydrated. Office supplies are plentiful and ties are only suggested on Tuesdays. But in all seriousness, here at Nexidia we are quite fortunate, so I wondered what my fellow contributors to this blog are thankful for. And what better way to find out than to ask? So ask I did, and here’s what they had to say.
